6  English Literature  35% Unit 1 Prose (different cultures) and poetry (contemporary) 2 hour exam: after Easter yr 10 option to re-sit in June of Year 11 (higher mark counts)  40% Unit 2(b) Contemporary drama and literary heritage prose 2 hour exam: Summer yr 11  25% Unit 3 Controlled assessment 75% exam 25% coursework
