8 MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS CONCENTRATION The MIS concentration provides a blend and flexibility for prospective students to shape and tailor their interests in business and computer science. Students gain competencies in computer programming, analysis, design, and implementation of information systems. At graduation, students pursue diverse management and MIS opportunities within corporations and consulting firms. I.
