2. 1. A unique person a.He is fully human – Jesus of Nazareth b.He is God - he existed before Bethlehem – John1:1,2 - he spoke of himself as God – John - he is Lord now – Acts 2:36 - he will one day judge all – Acts 17:30,31

3. 2. A unique death – 2:23 His death was the result of:- a.Human rebellion – 2:23 b.God acting to save us – Acts 4:27,28 3. A unique resurrection – 2:24-32 a. Death could not hold him – v.24 b. The O.T. looked forward to this – v.25-31 c. The apostles were witnesses – v.32

4. 4. A unique position now – 2:33-36 -He is Lord now. -The coming of the Spirit is a sign that he is Lord. The Church is to show what it means to live under the Lordship of Jesus -One day all will recognize Jesus as Lord – Phil.2:9-11

6. Salvation is:- a.By grace alone – it is God’s amazing work b.Through faith alone – we do not earn it, we receive it c.In Christ Jesus alone – there is no other Saviour – John 14:6; Acts 4:12 Surrender to him today. Trust in him today
