2 Communication Objectives 1.Create regional awareness of GreaterLouisvilleWorks.com among the 24 county commuter shed area. 2.Target 3 audiences: Employers, Job Seekers, and Alliance Partners and Contractors. 3.Use advertising and public relations efforts to introduce the product over a 6-month period (paid advertising will focus on January-June 2003)

3 Public Relations Activities Link to local television and radio station web sites Send direct mail packet to chamber members Set up booth at Greater Louisville Business Expo and other career- oriented expos Place posters in all One-Stop Career Center locations Host informal event for alliance partners and present an overview of the site Develop speakers bureau and schedule presentations to local professional and civic organizations within 24 county region Partner with Louisville’s unemployment offices to share information with job seekers
