2. Introduction  Hell is not a popular topic.  But preaching the truth about hell puts one in excellent company.  Hell (geena or gehenna) occurs 13 times in NT (NKJV; 23 times in KJV).  11 of 13 usages of “hell” are made by Jesus. 2

Introduction  The Bible describes hell as a terrible, awful place!  “outer darkeness” (Matt. 25:30).  “lake of fire” (Rev. 20:14-15).  “tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Rev. 20:10).  “Their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched” (Mk. 9:43-44). 3 Who will go there! Most! “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14
