2. What is USO? Unified Sign On (USO) A term used by LGfL to describe an authentication system where the same username and password is used to gain access to a wide variety of systems. In this scenario it is necessary to enter the username and password once for each service that is accessed. However, a user can alter his/her password in one place and have that change propagate to all systems

The LGfL USO can provide authentication for the Per User Level Filtering service offered by NetSweeper. The LGfL USO can also be used to synchronize with the local school or LA Active Directory system.
