2 What is a forensic pathologist ? The forensic pathologist performs autopsies to determine the cause and manner of death. Study of structural and functional changes in the body as a result of injury. Witness in the court of law.

3 Anatomic pathologistsClinical pathologists Diagnose disease by measuring chemicals and cells in blood, sputum, bone marrow, and urine. Perform autopsies and analyze tissues taken from patients during surgery or by biopsy.

4 What training is required to become a forensic pathologist? Four year college degree. Four years of medical school 3-5 years residency training program in general pathology. One year specialty training program in forensic pathology at a medical examiner's or coroner's office
