5 Lean Health: Work packages; 1. Content: To assess HealthCare institutions existing levels of adaption to Lean. To identify what barriers exist(cultural, social, economic) to learning and application of lean tool techniques for the organisation. To identify what barriers exist (time, commitment excess etc.) for the individual in learning and application of lean tools for the individual. Determining of most effective methods of instigating and sustaining change management in healthcare provision settings. Identification of key critical success and failure factors in previous applications of lean tools in industry.
