Unlike other college-prep programs, IB students collect different types of assessment evidence over the two years of the program. Students can earn college credit for strong scores on IB exams

15 Full diploma is for our most academically aggressive students who want the best college preparation that you can get in a high school Partial diploma is for students who wish to challenge themselves and prepare for college but who do not wish to commit to the full-diploma programme

16 1. Only take as many IB classes as you can do and do well 2. Consider that full diploma is a serious commitment that involves 6 college-prep/ college-level classes AND requires:  CAS: 150 hours of creativity, action and service over the two years of the programme  EE: A 4000-word (10+ page) independent research paper  TOK seminar: a once-per-week after school Theory of Knowledge class

17 Options include:  IB English SL or HL  World Language (French, Spanish, or Japanese)  IB Psychology HL or History HL  IB Math SL or Math Studies (Math Studies is college prep math and you only need Geometry to take Math Studies)  IB Chemistry SL and/ or IB Biology HL  IB Art, IB Film, and/ or IB Business and Management
