2. Background At the top of the screen, click “Format”
From the dropdown menu, choose “Background”
Choose background color and click “Apply to All”
If the background you desire is not shown, click “More Colors” or “Fill Effects” then do step 3

4. Slide Layout On your first slide you must choose how it will look
At the top of the screen, click “Format”
From the dropdown menu, choose “Slide Layout”
A box will appear with options of different slides
The box with a person in it refers to a picture, and the box with writing in it refers to text

6. Slide 1
The first slide needs to include:
Name of animal
Your name

8. Slide 2 The second slide needs to include: Name of your animal
Picture of your animal
Description of your animal

9. Adding a Picture From Clip Art
At the bottom of the screen, click the “Insert Clip Art” button
From that screen type your animals name in the search box
Once you choose a picture click on it and the picture will appear on the slide
You can make the picture larger or smaller just by using your mouse
Once your picture is the correct size use your mouse to move it anywhere on the slide

11. Adding a Picture From the Internet
On the web page use your mouse and right click on the picture
Click on “Save Picture As” and save your animal picture into your folder under the animal name, click “Save”
At the bottom of the screen, click the “Picture” button
Find your picture in your folder and click “Insert”
