Final Meeting Meeting Ravenna 27.03.08 Technical information The sand dredged in Ancona harbor is an option for the beach nourishment of Palombina The quantity of sand for linear meter of coast: 200 m3 for a meter of beach The working technique is a refluent dredge off the breakwater defense The additional cost for harbor work consisting in pushing longshore the sand stocked on the seaside is equal to 100.000,00.

Final Meeting Meeting Ravenna 27.03.08 Implementation Palombina is a complex sandy landscape divided between two municipalities, with a strong private activity. At the higher level we needed to achieve a public & private network for the whole area. Is it realistic? Yes, absolutely. Why? All the actions are planned considering the environmental, social and economic impact. The keywords are simplicity and rationality.
