1. Final Presentation My Spring Semester, 2014 at UMB

2. What do I want to bring this semester to next semester? ● Next semester, I want to bring the writing skills I learned in my First-Year Seminar and English 102 courses, to my next classes. ● I know that if I just practice these skills more often, I will get better at executing them into my future papers.

3. What do I want to leave behind? Why? ● I want to leave behind my nervousness for asking questions. ● Sometimes I go out of my way to answer a question, but at other times I become nervous, especially in my Arabic Class. ● In that class, I would hesitate to speak when she asked to say sentences for the fear of speaking wrong since most of the class consisted of heritage learners.

4. What am I most proud of? Why? I am most proud of my ability to try my best on assignments and seeking help. Even though sometimes I do not write the best essays, I try my best to be as clear in the paper as possibl.

5. What do I regret? Why? ● Going back to one of my previous slides, I mostly regret not participating in class a little more. ● letting that nervousness get to me ● I know teachers look at participation, but I also want to be able to present my answers when i know them.

6. How have I surprised myself this semester? ● This semester I actually studied more for my Arabic quizzes and I received good grades for the most part. ● The fact that i got those grades was a surprise only because I did not think I would be able to remember vocab. so well.

7. GPA next semester? ● I do not. I predict that my GPA will be about the same due to the fact that my writing was not that good in English 102 this semester. ● Even though I do not think I will faikl, I believe that my grade in that class will be average.
