2.  Your Study Environment is what surrounds you when you study.

3.  What do you think is a good study environment?  Answer the questions on your hand-out about your study environment.

5.  Here are some suggestions for a good study environment:  Choose a place at home for studying where you feel comfortable.  Choose a place where you will not be interrupted.  Try to remove things that distract you. For example, the TV.  Try to study where noise will not distract you. If you like music playing play it quietly. If you find that you are distracted turn it off and try without it.

6.  If it is hard to find a place to study ask your family and friends to help.  If you cannot study at home see if there is another place where you can study. For example, the library at school.

8.  Read the stories in the Activity section of your worksheet.  Answer the questions as to whether Angela and Rogers study habits are Good, Fair or Poor.  Read the other paragraphs on your worksheet and answer the questions for improving Lisa’s study habits.  Finally, in the space provided at the end of the worksheet (and on the back if needed) write out your plans for improving your study space!
