1  The demographics of every community is different. Let’s create a common understanding of the populations you serve. ◦ Introduce yourself and your organization’s primary focus. ◦ What specific needs will your constituency have in an emergency/disaster? ◦ What resources do you need most in a disaster? ◦ Does your organization have a social media program or plan? If so, please describe the channels you use and how you use them.

2 ◦ A blizzard will be moving through the region, with massive amount of snow and wind. ◦ Anticipated snowfall is expected to be in the 28- 36in range in a 36hour period. ◦ Snowfall is expected to begin in the next 24 hours. ◦ Winds will be gusting upwards of 20-30mph and the windchill will be hovering around 0 degrees. ◦ Large swaths of the region will be experiencing periods of power outages. ◦ Snow removal crews will be staged and ready to clear, however many streets will remain unpassable for large periods of time.
