2 What do costumes do they wear & for what occasions?
They wear a Hanbok, traditional Korean clothing. The boys and girls have different clothing, but only the bottom part. Girls- Long one-piece looking dress, usually bright colored, worn first. Then another half jacket is worn, along with a pouch of “luck” which is extra. Their hair is usually braided with red ribbons. Boys- Very loose pants are worn, made with silk sometimes. They were a full jacket, as opposed to the girls’ half. Their hair is kept short, and under a hat if the occasion is very important. The jacket could also be a vest, with a white shirt underneath. Yes its still worn today. & they use silk fabric.

3 School Clothing They wear uniforms, their not aloud to wear what they want, its like this in all schools. They wear a white shirt, with a tie, and black pants, with nice black dress shoes.

4 Brides & Grooms. Brides wear a chogori, a short jacket with long sleeves. Two ribbons are tied to the jacket to form a otkorum. A full-length wraparound skirt is work. Boat shaped shoes made of slik, worn with cotton socks, complete the ensemble. The bride also has three red circles painted on her cheeks and forehead, which keeps evil spirits away. Grooms sport a jacket, trousers, a black hat, and an overcoat. Sometimes a vest is worn over the shirt. The other people that attend the wedding wear Hanbok, which is a traditional Korean costume.

6 Colors that symbolize. Green means “lucky”. It also represents youth and energy. Red symbolizes passion. White symbolizes purity. It also symbolizes patriotism. Black symbolizes death.
