2  Birth – 26  Early On – birth to 3  Elementary classrooms (Voyager)  Middle School classroom (Highlander Way)  High School classrooms (FC, Howell HS)  Pathway  Adult Transition

3  Pathway ~ students need medical care, have SCI, SXI eligibility  Adult Transition (Snider, Keck) ~ Students need adult support throughout the day, and will long term. Students have MoCi, ASD special education eligibility  Adult Transition (Carter, Prout, Rettino Sturm) Students need limited adult/natural supports

4  Students gain the skills they need to be successful  Students leave when they are ready – regardless of age  Less emphasis on leisure activities  Teach the skills, move the activities beyond the campus

5 They come to us from the local districts (MiCi, MoCi, ASD eligibility) They have participated in LESA programming throughout their educational career Move in from surrounding counties.

6 The student is unable to master the rigorous curriculum necessary to earn a diploma The student needs basic skills necessary for independence

7  Adaptive Living skills  Daily Living Skills  Vocational Training  Educational Training

8 Community College approach Students attend when they need to ~ based on their goals Students transition to adult living when they are ready
