11 Children –. Coach: Child Ratio – Equipment – the amount and type of equipment that is used. Content – the type of activities that the children are doing. Organisation & Structure –If there are people responsible for certain jobs other than coaching such as time keeping, registering children etc. format adopted. Time Keeping – all issues related to time keeping (start time, finishing time, amount of time at each activity etc.)

14 Understanding how the children grow and develop –Physically –Intellectually –Socially –Emotionally This helps parents and coaches to know what to expect from the children.

Adopting a child-centred approach to all junior club activities Imparting new knowledge and skills at the right pace and at the appropriate time Ensuring enjoyable and safe play Reducing playing area and time. Programming to include the needs of all young people including those with disabilities Promoting a broad range of motor skills at a young age
