4 Role they played In the 1950’s women played the supporting role for their husbands lives in the public sphere. They kept house, cooked meals, and raised the children This picture shows that women Should be happy with their role

5 Career/Education They help paying jobs. But it wasn’t all about making money. They wanted to be able to buy items that were apart of the media saying of, “The Good Life”. Teen girls had some opportunities like college, but most stayed at home to be a mother.
