14 Students and staff can request loanable materials housed in Tai Po MMW Library to be sent to the Tseung Kwan O Study Centre Learning Commons for borrowing, or vice versa Only circulating/loanable materials can be requested for Inter- Campus Delivery. i.e. The material status must be available for loan Items cannot be requested for delivery within the same library unless the items are currently on loan. Inter-campus Delivery

16 HKIEd Students and Staff: Enter HKIEd Network Username and Password here, and then select pickup location Inter-campus Delivery Click ‘Request Selected Item’ to confirm A message indicates that your request was submitted successfully. The available item will be sent to the Pickup Location. You will be notified by email.

23 Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee (JULAC) Cards UGC-funded Degree students are eligible to apply for JULAC Student Reader Cards Visit and use the collections of other UGC libraries in-house Annual registration fee $50 charged by each host library (1 Aug - 31 Jul) Admission to some libraries may be restricted during “black-out” periods of peak seasons Application can be made at the Circulation Counter, MMW Library or Tseung Kwan O Study Centre Learning Commons

24  Materials with loan period  14 days may be renewed twice  The new due date is calculated from the date of renewal  You cannot renew a checked-out item if : There are holds on the item The item is overdue Maximum no. of renewals has been reached RENEWAL

26  You can select to save your borrowing history  Need to opt in to activate the service, otherwise default is no history recording  You can choose to opt out at anytime but deleted history cannot be recovered  Only HKIEd Library items will be saved in history, NOT applicable to HKALL items YOUR READING HISTORY

28  Users may place a hold on a checked-out item with loan period  14 days  Your “hold” quotas: 20 items  Email notice will be sent to you when the hold item is ready for pickup HOLD

29  Items of 30-days loan period are subject to recall  Loan period of recalled items may be shortened  Email will be sent to you notifying the revised due date  HKALL items may be recalled by users of owning Library  Late return of recalled or held items will be treated as overdue and liable to a fine RECALL
