4 4  A student may earn an endorsement by successfully completing: ◦ 1 additional credit in math ◦ 1 additional credit in science ◦ Curricular requirements of the endorsement  2 additional electives  Consistent with current MISD graduates ◦ Average MISD student graduates with 28 credits

7  Distinguished Level of Achievement ◦ Requires earning an endorsement and successfully completing Algebra 2  A student must earn the Distinguished Level of Achievement to be eligible for Top 10% automatic admission.

9 A student may earn a performance acknowledgement:  for outstanding performance ◦ in dual credit or articulated (12 hours with a 3.0 GPA) ◦ in bilingualism and bi-literacy (Complete ELA Requirements with an 80 or above and one of the following  3 credits in the same LOTE (80+ grade)  Level 4 or above in LOTE (80+ grade)  AP score of 3 or more in LOTE course ◦ Earn a 3 or better on an AP test

10 A student may earn a performance acknowledgement:  for outstanding performance on: ◦ PSAT: commended or higher or in the National Hispanic Recognition Program or National Achievement Scholarship Program ◦ SAT: 1250 combined reading/mathematic ◦ ACT: 28 combined score or college readiness benchmark score on 2 or 4 ACT subject areas  for obtaining a recognized business or industry certificate/license

12  1 credit CTE ◦ Sets MISD students up for successful completion of 4 out of the 5 endorsements .5 credit Speech ◦ MISD currently has this as a requirement .5 elective credit ◦ Allows students flexibility to explore additional courses Total of 28 credits for the Midway Endorsement Graduation Plan Total of 24 credits for the Midway Foundation Graduation Plan
