3 ESSIP Plan 20143 Comprehensive Explanation  Area of applicability: All ECAC States except Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia  Initial Operational Capability (IOC): 09/2013 Full Operational Capability (FOC): 12/2017  The objective will ensure the progressive deployment of free route airspace.  It covers the Interim Deployment Programme part of the free route implementation  Aligned with the European Route Network Improvement Plan (ERNIP) Part 1

Cross-Border Sectorisation and Further Routeing Options

6 Most important SLoA(s) ESSIP Plan 20146  AOM21-ASP02 - Implement system improvements (finalisation date 12/2017).  AOM20-ASP03 – Implement procedures and processed in support of the local dimension (finalisation date 12/2017).  Each SLoA should be fulfilled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the European Route Network Improvement Plan (ERNIP) Part 1

7 Finalisation Criteria and Closed Questions ESSIP Plan 20147 Finalisation criteria:  Contact your subject matter expert to determine the deployment Status for each SloA Closed questions:  Closed Questions have been introduced for this Objective  Statements on Deployment Status should provide answers to Closed Questions

8 ESSIP Report 2013 ESSIP Plan 20148 Implementation of FRA seems to progress in accordance with agreed timeframe 6 States report this Objective as Completed and 2 as Partially Completed None of the States reports this Objective as Late at this stage Remaining States report this objective as Planned

9 Objective Coordinator’s Analysis, recommendations, tips & tricks ESSIP Plan 20149  Ensure that your subject matter expert is involvement once you make your statement.  Information provided per SLoA can be easily verified by checking the provisions laid down in the supporting material.  Attention to the applicability to the Military stakeholders as airspace users (pilots and flight planning).  To ensure appropriate progress on this Objective, full coordination shall take place through the ERND function of the Network Manager.
