2  These type of questions are just asking a question and are looking for a short answer.  Rule out any ridiculous answers.  Choose the possible answers  Reread question to verify that it fits your answer.  Record the best answer

4  These questions appear to be overwhelming because of the amount of words to read.  Look for the questions first.  Read through the answers  Eliminate ridiculous answers  Skim read the paragraph to find information to answer the question.

5  Scientists conduct experiments in order to test their ideas and gather information. Some scientists have been studying the effects of different pollutants in an ecosystem. Many of the scientists have recently questioned the effects of one particular chemical that has been found in the water. They claim it may limit the growth of pine trees which are crucial habitats for many organisms. What do they need to do to support their claim?  A. The scientists need to write a book documenting all about their discoveries.  B. The scientists must do careful research under several different conditions.  C.
