2. Goal: Facilities Ignite research creativity and inquiry by providing spaces through which the researchers across disciplines can work together and create new knowledge.

3. Objective: Research-Driven Center Strengthen the role of the library as the research support hub of the university by creating purposefully-designed dynamic, inspiring and attractive places that are the choice of individual and collaborative research for postgraduate students and faculty and foster scholarly networking and digital initiatives among the research community.

4. a. Rezoning to include Collaborative Research Commons, Digital Scholarly Laboratory, Information Technology Zones, Discussion and Idea-Exchange Rooms, and Open Learning Spaces.

5. b. Provide high technology equipment in the scholarly laboratory for digital humanities research projects of academic departments and showcase research outputs.

6. c. Provide business spaces for entrepreneurial experiments for researchers and students d. Host a variety of research support activities including a research café, discussion workshops for thesis writing, author workshops, grant proposal workshop.

7. Desired Outcomes Increase in the amount of collaborative research among researchers and students in the library. Raise the value of the library in the university community to increase the international standing of the university as a research institution. Increase in digital project of researchers.

Action Plan 1.Study the best examples in zoning and design of library spaces. 2.Conduct small-scale experiments. 3.Formulate a flexible and responsive budget allocation formula to plan or the restructuring of the library facilities. 4.Work with campus development department for the zoning and redesign. 5.Renovation of the library. 6.Marketing.
