7 Heros and Zeros Heroes emerge in times of crisis. Zeroes find a safe place to hide in crisis. Heroes have been prepared and predisposed to their heroism by their way of life. Zeroes have been prepared and predisposed to their “zeroism” by their way of life. Heroes are not frightened by the odds which appear stacked against them. Zeroes are paralyzed by the odds which appear stacked against them.

8 Heroes Heroes work and train very hard, but in the end they look to God for the victory. Zeroes are idle, and often lazy, but in the end they look for victory. Heroes take their duties and responsibilities seriously. Zeroes often look for someone else to perform their duties and responsibilities. Heroes go above and beyond the call of duty, out of faith, loyalty, and love. Zeroes do only what is required, no more.

9 Heroes Heroes emerge where heroism is modeled, valued, and rewarded. Zeroes emerge when victory is secured. Heroes are those who have the courage to identify themselves with God’s anointed. Zeroes identify themselves with heroes.

It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.
