3 That is why we are talking about heroes! We have gone through a long process, in which we asked customers, employees and members of the management: What makes our company unique? What defining characteristics would you ascribe to our company? The analysis showed that we have a good image and a good, strong culture. The analysis also showed that we need a bit more drive and action to reach our goal – and the conclusion was that our new company personality must be

4 But why the Hero? Because the defining characteristics of the Hero are: The Hero's motto is: Where there's a will there's a way The Hero's greatest desire is: To prove his worth through courageous and difficult deeds The Hero's goal is: To become and remain the market leader in creating win-win situations in a way that makes the world a better place The Hero's ambition is: To become as strong, competent and powerful as possible The Hero's talents are: Competence, winning spirit and constant development Furthermore, our values are true Heroic values!

5 Danfoss Floor Heating Our values We are competent, have a winning spirit and constantly develop for the benefit of our customers, colleagues and other business partners Key words: "competent" – we constantly seek to update our knowledge “winning spirit" – we have the will to win and will fight for our goal "development" – we constantly develop our products, services and capabilities

6 The way forward – what we as a company want to accomplish We will be the global market leader in floor heating We want to be a healthy company that is good to do business with, and where people will want to work We will be the preferred choice

7 We want to be heroes to our customers. The customers must see us as heroes – at all times and in all situations: It is us who solves the problems and makes a difference when the job becomes difficult We will be heroes to our suppliers. We provide our business partners with adequate information about our business so that we can strengthen each other We will be our colleagues' heroes – by performing competently and with winning spirit. We will create a good working environment, and we will cooperate Our new personality In Floor Heating we position ourselves – and act – like heroes! In short: We want to be the preferred choice!

8 What is it that makes a Hero a Hero? one who crosses boundaries and who also has the courage to say no one who works with others to achieve a common goal one who spreads good spirits and is considerate towards his or her colleagues one who can say sorry, because the Hero is human, and no one is without his or her faults one who leads by setting a good example – and gets others to follow one who does not gloat, but who shares the glory with others one who unselfishly makes the workday a bit brighter for his or her colleagues one who gets others to stand as one one who helps on an everyday basis when the heat is turned up one who does an unexpected good deed for another one who makes an effort to rescue or help others Here are some of the suggestions our colleagues gave us during the Hero Competition in June:

9 But what does it mean to be a hero in OUR department? Take a few minutes to discuss with one another: When are we heroes? What are some good examples? Where would we like to be in one year? Where are we today? What is our greatest challenge? How do we interact with the other departments?
