2 Looking at What We Eat and Parallels to the Human Body! You are what you eat - so eat healthy. There is the food pyramid and probably 10,000 different diets that are designed to make you healthy. Is it possible the best alternative is to just look at the foods we eat? The homeopathic belief is based on "The Doctrine of Signatures" a belief that all plants were given a look or signature that determines what they are for in relation to the human body. If it looks like a heart it is good for the heart. 3 Improved Eye Sight A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye; and YES science now shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes. The beta-carotene that gives carrots their vibrant color also acts as a potent antioxidant, preventing cell damage, slowing aging, boosting immunity, and fostering healthy eyesight. 4 Heart Health A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four Chambers. All of the research shows tomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food. Lycopene has been shown to help protect not only against prostate, but breast, pancreatic and intestinal cancers, especially when consumed with fat-rich foods, such as avocado, olive oil or nuts. 5 Breast Health Grapefruits, Oranges, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts. * Citrus compounds may prevent colon cancer * Orange, tangerine peels contain compounds that may lower cholesterol * Grapefruit promotes weight loss, human study confirms * Grapefruit juice may help reduce the risk of cancer in smokers All designs, text, graphics, printed materials and the selection and arrangement thereof, are the sole property and copyright of Fearless Learning Canada.; no reproduction without written permission ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

6 Vitalized Heart and Blood Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the Research today shows that grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food. Good news. You don't have to be a wine enthusiast in order to benefit from grapes. The heart-healthy benefits derived from "grapes" are available in 5 forms. From the grape itself (grape skin, flesh, seeds) and from grape beverages (wine, juice). 7 Improved Brain Function A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper Cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuro-transmitters essential to brain function. Walnuts have often been thought of as a "brain food," not only because of the wrinkled brain-like appearance of their shells, but because of their high concentration of omega-3 fats. Your brain is more than 60% structural fat. For your brain cells to function properly, this structural fat needs to be primarily the omega-3 fats found in walnuts, flaxseed and cold-weatr fish. 8 Kidney Function Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the Human kidneys. Kidney beans are a very good source of cholesterol-lowering fiber, as are most other beans. In addition to lowering cholesterol, kidney beans' high fiber content prevents blood sugar levels from rising too rapidly after a meal, making these beans an especially good choice for individuals with diabetes, insulin resistance or hypoglycemia. When combined with whole grains such as rice, kidney beans provide virtually fat- free high quality protein. But this is far from all kidney beans have to offer. 9 Stronger Bones Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough Sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body. Celery contains vitamin C and several other active compounds hat promote health, including phalides, which may help lower cholesterol, and coumarins, that may be useful in cancer prevention. 10 Healthy Womb and Cervix Eggplant, Avocados and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth Weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical Constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them). Avocados contain oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat that may help to lower cholesterol. In one study of people with moderately high cholesterol levels, individuals who ate a diet high in avocados showed clear health improvements. After seven days on the diet that included avocados, they had significant decreases in total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, along with an 11% increase in health promoting HDL cholesterol. 11 Male Sterility Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility of male sperm and increase the numbers of sperm as well to overcome male sterility. Figs are a good source of dietary fiber. Fiber and fiber-rich foods may have a positive effect on weight management. In one study, women who increased their fiber intake with supplements significantly decreased their energy intake, yet their hunger and satiety scores did not change. Figs, like other high fiber foods, may be helpful in a weight management program. 12 Pancreas Health Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics. The recent classification of sweet potato as an "ant diabetic" food. Sweet potato has been given this label because of some recent animal studies in which sweet potato helped stabilize blood sugar levels and lowered insulin resistance. (Insulin resistance is a problem caused when cells don't respond to the hormone insulin, which is supposed to act as a key and unlock the cell in order to allow sugar to pass from the blood into the cell). Some of its blood sugar regulatory properties may come from the fact that sweet potatoes are concentrated in carotenoids. 13 Body Cleansing Onions look like body cells. Today's research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. The World Health Organization (WHO) supports the use of onions for the treatment of poor appetite and to prevent atherosclerosis. In addition, onion extracts are recognized by WHO (World Health Organization) for providing relief in the treatment of coughs and colds, asthma and bronchitis. Onions are known to decrease bronchial spasms. An onion extract was found to decrease allergy- induced bronchial constriction in asthma patients. 14 Viagra from Nature Peanuts have a profound effect on the testicles and sexual libido. Peanuts were banned as a food for males by the church often during the middle ages. Most people don't realize that argentine, the main component of Viagra, comes from peanuts. A University of Florida team says peanuts are rich in antioxidants which protect cells from damage linked to heart disease and cancer. Peanuts also contain high levels of protein and are a "good" mono- unsaturated fat. 15 Male Enhancement Bananas, Cucumber, Zucchini and more target the size and Strength of the male sexual organ. It's true! A study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine also confirms that eating high fiber foods, such as bananas, helps prevent heart disease. Almost 10,000 American adults participated in this study and were followed for 19 years. People eating the most fiber, 21 grams per day, had 12% less coronary heart disease (CHD) and 11% less cardiovascular disease (CVD) compared to those eating the least, 5 grams daily. Those eating the most water-soluble dietary fiber fared even better with a 15% reduction in risk of CHD and a 10% risk reduction in CVD. In addition to these cardiovascular benefits, the potassium found in bananas may also help to promote bone health. Potassium may counteract the increased urinary calcium loss caused by the high-salt diets typical of most Americans, thus helping to prevent bones from thinning out at a fast rate. 16 Health and the Ovaries Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries. Even though olives have a high fat content of 15 to 35 percent, they are an excellent source of oleic acid (an omega-9 mono-unsaturated fatty acid). Since olives contain mixed tocopherols, they are also a good source of vitamin E. Olives and their oil contain many unique phenolic and aromatic compounds, including oleuroperin and flavonoids. Research has shown that it is the type of fat consumed that determines the risk of developing conditions such as diabetes, atherosclerosis, colon cancer, Arthritis, and asthma. Regions such as the Mediterranean area consume large amounts of olive oil and have a lower risk of developing those conditions.
