4 Project History Community Needs Assessment –Needs assessment survey conducted in 2001 identified need for a “multi-generational center” –Market Study conducted in 2003 indicated YMCA membership sustainability –Campaign Feasibility Study interviews in 2004 revealed strong potential financial support Project Components –YMCA facility & programs - recreational pool, gymnasium, teen center, handball, fitness center, activity rooms –Community Center – meeting space, adult activities, Scottsdale Healthcare programs, Foothills Caring Corp, DVEA –PV Community College classrooms
