2 Summary First significant program changes since inception in 2001 Response to 2 key factors: 1. Need for more flexibility (grantees) 2. Need for streamlining (reduced budget)

4 Utilizing more technology Online application submittal Recent budget amendment for Gortons Studio to build web forms Includes with copy of application Moving grantee reporting online by end of year

5 Budget reductions Since 2010, ~20% reduction in administrative budget to manage program In response… Move to one-step application process Use technology to streamline application and reporting processes Reduce program expenses such as printing and meeting room fees
