June 2002REGNET Status of work in WP 2 /3 (IMAC) 3 Report on Content Group Meeting 1. Available Content (quantitative dimensions) Object.. Themes.. Shop Items.. Status reporting could not be finished in Sofia. All presentations will be uploaded to the server in order to give each partner the possibility to inform about the status and data available!

June 2002REGNET Status of work in WP 2 /3 (IMAC) 4 2. Data Entry Issues Report on Content Group Meeting Content production should be stopped [Minimum standard: not only in native language, but in english also - this must be done and delivered] Available data will be processed in the way already started [Export, mapping, conversion] => All partners will get their own databases for testing (Content integrity and quality check) and usage (Start at the end of June!)

June 2002REGNET Status of work in WP 2 /3 (IMAC) 5 2. Data Entry Issues Report on Content Group Meeting Future scenarios: Solutions for online and offline data entry will be offered by the CSCs (parallel) to support different scenarios: - upload - edit records - local management (offline templates, maybe also databases, e. g. MySQL) This is a task not yet fully completed, tools must be refined in order to find a convenient solution.

June 2002REGNET Status of work in WP 2 /3 (IMAC) 6 3. Feedback to the tools (demonstrated during 1st/2nd day) Report on Content Group Meeting Data Entry Intensive discussion mainly about individual features (how it functions, is it possible?,...) and consequently a kind of further requirement definition. First requirements could be fixed (validation procedures etc.) but 1. Functionality must be tested intensively [CPs] 2. Usability must be tested intensively [CP expert group] 3. Synchronization is needed especially for the themes template (which is not an individual application, but a tool by used by each partner in the same way) [TARX, AIT,...]

June 2002REGNET Status of work in WP 2 /3 (IMAC) 7 3. Feedback to the tools (demonstrated during 1st/2nd day) Report on Content Group Meeting Search & Retrieval (Multi-Site-Search) Further testing necessary for detailed feedback E-Publishing Most of the comments were related to the interface & output: - The use for content providers became not transparent (How could products look like? Different outputs are necessary, e. g. virtual galleries, print products, presentations) - Interface (& speed) must be improved - Editing facilities must be enhanced: actually the publisher has no control Proposal/Agreement: Further effort to develop an interface for the integration of external applications (optional for CPs)

June 2002REGNET Status of work in WP 2 /3 (IMAC) 8 Report on Content Group Meeting 4. Validation schedule: Start on 1st of July 2002 ! 9 June 2002REGNET Status of work in WP 2 /3 (IMAC) 9 Strategy for pragmactic testing High-level testing - functionality available or not? [Could be done in Sofia?] If yes, using test cases already available? If no test cases available, they must be modelled 4.
