11. Demand from the consumers Growing demand given the importance of S&T. But it is not urgent and pressing Supply Who is responsible for supplying? How often should we supply? Who pays? 11

12. FUTURE STEP We will, after this training gain insight into what goes into Science & Technology and Innovation statistics and then try to come up with relevant statistics. However, UNESCO should play lead role in this matter through capacity building in this area in the short and medium-term. 12
