19 Program Description In School Year 2009-2010, 50 youth will be served in the grant-funded program. The After-School program is a tutoring and mentoring program designed to help students pass 9 th Grade Algebra. The program will serve high school students who scored Level I or II on their 8 th grade EOG Math test, and have either not yet taken or have taken and failed Algebra 1.
