2 Participants will learn how to implement an African American Outreach Initiative at their college/institution. Participants will learn how to design a blueprint/framework for initiatives. Participants will understand the articulation agreement process with Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Participants will learn how to leverage resources to meet the needs of similar initiatives. Participants will develop an understanding of how to use data to drive decision-making. Learning Outcomes

9 Mission The African American Outreach Initiative (AAOI) is a district-wide collaboration of faculty, staff and administrators dedicated to improving the access and success rates of African American students in LACCD.
