5. What do I (the Library) want to do? Develop Olivia, PILOT and PILS; extend coverage to all PGT students, and staff New content for our courses in consultation with you, students and library staff  Assignment Survival Kit Focus on our teaching delivery, including moving from the concentrated 1 st year courses Continue to address plagiarism, in conjunction with departments Examine how students evaluate information, and work with them on developing their critical and analytical skills when doing study and research

7. How? Focus on students’ needs Different teaching and research areas have different information needs Type of assessment varies:  i.e. essay, report, project, case study, presentation, oral, poster Different educational backgrounds  for example, wide variation in understanding of plagiarism Academic and language skills

8. And how will you know how your students are doing? We need your input: students respond to assessment (marks) The work they do should incorporate all the practical and analytical skills we are teaching
