4.  Founded 1961 - we celebrate 50 years of youth programs in 2011!  Program started as a boys baseball which now has expanded to include boys/girls and it includes sports, arts, science, food, etc.  Girls Summer Youth began in 1976  It switched to COED in 1989  1995 Full Day Camps available

New Balance Girls on the Run 5K/1K Friday, June 3, 2011 OSU Campus, Corvallis, OR Packet pick-up: Opens at 5:00 PM Day of race registration: 5:00 PM - 5:45 PM 1K begins at 6:00 PM 5K begins at 6:15 PM Goals for Girls:  Have a stronger sense of identity  Learn the advantages of a peer support group  Learn to stand up for herself in a healthy manner  Have an improved body image  Understand her impact in her community  Complete a 5K run/walk event
