Answer: 5 degrees Fahrenheit What was the average annual rainfall in that location? Answer: 50 inches What was the landscape like? What were its common features? Answer: The landscape was very nice looking. It had trees, houses, and grass. What animal and plant life existed in this habitat? Answer: Bears, deer, elk, and cows.

Answer: The police station or the court Where would you go to be educated? Answer: school where would they go to buy and trade goods? Answer: A grocery store Where would people gather for religious ceremonies? Answer: Christian church

12 Food Foods and Their Preparation What are three special foods that the people in your culture eat regularly? Answer: Fish, wild animals, and some pasta. Who is in charge of getting the ingredients, and how do they get them? Answer: Hunters and cooks Hunters shoot the animals and fish for them and cooks make the noodles. What tools or weapons are eaten and at what times? Answer: A fishing pole, any type of gun and pots for the noodles. How many meals a day are eaten and at what times? Answer: three meals at 8:00am, 1:00pm, 7:15pm and snacks in between. Who prepares each meal, and where is this done? Answer: Maids or cooks and this is usually done in an eating area.

Answer: Yes, only 2 types, one is 3, five packs of gum and 1 foot long candy bar. Do any people in you culture sell food to make money? If so, who are these people, and what do they sell. Answer: NO Does your culture engage in trade with other cultures for food that is not found locally? Answer: Yes

17 Economy/Currency Economy and Currency What are considered valuable and why? Answer: Jewelry and tinfoil because it is very expensive and is important. Who has access to these things of value? Answer: Who ever can afford it and can raise money themselves. What types of “cash” are used? Answer: Gold coins and bills. How does trade within this culture happen? Answer: they trade by airplanes and ships. How do people display their wealth? Answer: fancy houses, nice clothes and very expensive jewelry. Who is considered “successful? Why? Answer: Who ever went to college because they can get a job anywhere and a good job.

Beasts of burdens Which were ridden and/or used to carry goods or pull conveyances? Answer: Beasts and Burdens were. Boats How were they designed and made ( of what materials)? Answer: Boats were made out of wood and a little stone. Wheeled vehicles How were they designed and made (out of what materials)? Answer: wheeled vehicles were made out of Black and white cloth. How was this item made and used( describe the design, materials, and etc.)? Answer: this item was made out of trees for wood the design was black and white with a skeleton on it.

20 Defense/Protection Describe briefly at least three ways that people can defend themselves and their property. Answer: people could have horses, guard dogs, guns and knives. Which feature of the landscape makes your culture easy to attack? Answer: we have no mountains to guard us. What defenses does the landscape provide naturally? Answer: The tree roots help us to trip enemies when they are running on our land. How are defense strategies taught, and who teaches them? Answer: The king teaches them and the strategies are taught by having a book or people show them. Which people in your culture are trained to defend it? Answer: the soldiers Have any major battles been fought? If so, who was involved and who won? Answer: NO What types of weapons in training and fighting? Answer: Guns and Karate. What other ways do people in your culture defend themselves? Answer: They defend themselves with knives, forks, and torches. What kinds of clothing or uniforms do the defenders wear? Answer: They wear camouflage clothing, which are pants and a sweat shirt.
