1. WHY MANY PEOPLE ARE NOT SAVED MATTHEW 7:13-14 Part 3

2. Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 22:14 "For many are called, but few are chosen.'' Why are so many people going to be lost? I Peter 5:8 Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour. The lost person must also shoulder the blame

3. Some People Do Not Think They Are Lost Why are some many people going to be lost? There Are Some Who Will Not Believe There Are Some Who Are Trusting In Faith Only Some Just Love To Sin And Are Not Ashamed Because They Love the Praise Of Men Because They Are Biased Some Will Not Love The Truth Some Are Blinded By Satan Some Become Unfaithful And Never Repent

4. Because They Will Not Read And Investigate The Bible John 5:39-40 "You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.” Jesus does have the words of eternal life. John 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Jesus came to give people eternal life John 10:10-11 "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

5. Many are refusing to come Him. The Word of God will lead us to salvation II Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Like the Bereans we must “search the Scripture daily” II Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. James 1:21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

6. They Are Trusting In A Feeling “I feel I’m right.” Feelings are tricky. Paul thought he was right when he wasn’t. Acts 26:9 "Indeed, I myself thought I must do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Acts 23:1 Then Paul, looking earnestly at the council, said, "Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.'' I John 2:3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. John tells us the only sure and safe way.

7. They Want To Be Their Own God They want make their own laws They want to take a little of the Bible and mix it with some of their own thoughts Matthew 15:7-9 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. Mixing God’s Word with man’s word is still vain worship We should all be like Jesus

8. John 5:30 "I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.” Matthew 6:10 “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Luke 22:42 "Father, if it is Your will, remove this cup from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.'' Our lives should always be guided by the Lord’s will not our own. Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

9. Hebrews 2:1-3 For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty, how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? Because of Neglect Many people think they are too busy to be bothered with even the idea of salvation. They know their life is not in harmony with God’s will, but they think they have plenty of time “I’ll become a Christian someday” “I’ll get my life back to God, back to Christ and become right in Their someday, but not today.”

10. Sin is deceitful and the longer you put off getting your life right in the sight of God the less likely you are to do it. Hebrews 3:12-13 Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. Acts 24:25 But as he was discussing righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix became frightened and said, "Go away for the present, and when I find time I will summon you." Procrastination is dangerous

11. TO NEGLECT THIS SALVTION WILL COST YOU YOUR SOUL! I Peter 4:17-18 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now "If the righteous one is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?''
