3 ART can be defined as the expression of creativity and imagination through various techniques and media producing works to fulfill a variety of purposes. ARTISTS are people who create art. (in any art form)

5 Art involves: VISUAL ARTS MUSIC DANCE DRAMA These are known as the “the arts”, the ART FORMS or ART DISCIPLINES. Aside from artists, what other people are involved in the arts? Artists, art historians, critics, museum directors, teachers, students, and VIEWERS!

10 We express ourselves by means of the arts. We document our memories and history. If we do not speak the same language- we can use art to communicate. The arts enrich our lives.
