At the end of this discussing, you will know: 1.The meaning of the sick and aging world 2.Overview of environmental issues occur through the world 3.The symptom of the sick and aging world 4.The cause of the sick and aging world 5.The cure of the sick and aging world

This world being home for all creature for almost 4.6 billion years. At this long age, this world also bear with many uncontrolled environmental problem that effect all the nature of life. For example, the air pollution, water pollution, chemical and radioactive waste pollution, global warming, depletion of ozone layer etc. This polluted world become worse and if not control from now, our world will be dying.

This world was really great before any pollution take place. The air as very fresh, the water can be drink directly, the cloud pure white, the creature on the land and the ocean were plentiful and all happen in perfect manner without any disturbance.

The sickness happen after Industrial revolution. First water pollution occur in Netherlands, 1850. Worst air pollution occur on 1948 in Pennsylvania. Mankind use natural source to produce various product. The use of coal lead to air pollution. Carbon dioxide emission from burning of fossil lead to global warming. Chlorofluorocarbons lead to depletion of ozone layer. Waste water from factory effect the quality of water.

 AIR POLLUTION  Acidic gases released from factories.  Burning of fossil fuels.  Smoking habits.  Increased usage of vehicles.  Deforestation due to urban development.  NUCLEAR WASTE POLLUTION  During war, nuclear explosions and weapons harms the people in surrounding.  Improper nuclear wastes handling and disposal.  Mining of radioactive ores.  Accidents in nuclear power plant cause explosion of radioactive materials.

Explosions continue to rock the stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in Japan, in the wake of the devastating earthquake and tsunami.

 WATER POLLUTION  Destruction of mangroves may cause soil erosion.  Runoff from farms whereby the soil contains fertilizers and other chemical substances.  Chemical wastes dumping into the river.  Oil spills in the ocean.  Discharge of animal wastes into river which results in eutrophication.

 OZONE LAYER DEPLETION  Emission of Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).  Due to this problem, Ultraviolet (UV) radiation will be easily penetrates into the Earth’s surface.  GLOBAL WARMING  High temperature in atmosphere due to the increase concentrations of greenhouse gases.  The greenhouse effect cause:  Increasing of water level.  Melting of ice.  Change in weather patterns.  Loss of snow cover.  Deforestation will cause lack of oxygen in atmosphere.
