SuperCache is available for Windows .net/2000 and NT. It is used for server applications.
A SuperCache volume has two components, a disk component and a RAM component. The RAM component is usually smaller than the disk component.…The disk component is used to store data permanently, while the RAM component speeds up performance.
To all applications, the SuperCache partitions appear to be ordinary disk partitions, but they are dramatically faster. We recommend that the RAM component be at least 25% of the size of the disk space being cached.
