2. ALDINEISD If you desire an opportunity to do business with Aldine ISD, you must first register in the district’s eBid system and obtain your unique username and password. Registering does not guarantee that you will do business with the district – but it alerts you of bid and proposal opportunities. When completing the eBid registration process, be sure to indicate any and all products and services (commodities) that your company provides. Using a bid calendar, invitations are sent, via an email, to vendors based on the commodities selected during the eBid registration. Bids and proposals that are currently open for participation can be viewed from the “Open RFP Bids” section of the Purchasing Department Website. Bids and Proposals must be submitted before the due date and time. Late bids cannot be accepted.

3. ALDINEISD Bids are evaluated by Aldine ISD and recommended to the Board of Trustees for award based on criteria outlined in the bid or proposal package. Depending on the type of bid, sometimes multiple vendors are awarded a contract to allow a wider selection and availability of products or services to the district. Vendor and contract award information will be available in the “Bid Tabulation” section of the Purchasing website after approval by the Board of Trustees, and you will also receive and email notification. If your company is awarded a contract with the District, your company name is made available to Aldine ISD campuses and departments as an “Approved Vendor”. Once the Board of Trustees approves the bids, the awarded vendors will be used to purchase the goods and services on that bid for the duration of the contract. Aldine ISD is also authorized to participate in the cooperative purchasing organizations. This means the district is able to purchase from vendors who are awarded contracts via purchasing cooperatives. A list of purchasing cooperatives can be found on the district’s Purchasing website.
