Residence permit I For EU/EEA-students: Online registration. (no fee) Book an appointment with the police (within 3 months) Show up for your appointment You will need: your passport, current address in Tromsø, insurance (e.g. European Health Insurance E 111/private health insurance), Admission Letter and Study Plan (Free-movers).

3 Residence permit II For non-EU/EEA-students: Report to the police station within 7 days in order to get your residence permit card. You will need: your passport, entry date to Norway, and your current address in Tromsø with room number. Admission Letter and Study Plan (Free-movers)
