4  No schools will score below a “C” on the state accountability measures as of June 2010. All schools under the Differentiated Accountability model must meet the requirements set forth by the Department of Education under those guidelines.  The district will double the number of students scoring levels four (4) and five (5) on the FCAT by June 2012.  Within three (3) years, 90% of the district's second graders will read on grade level.  The schools will increase attendance rates by 3% or have an average daily attendance of 95%, and the number of out-of-school suspensions will decrease by at least 10%.  The District will create Warrington Middle School as a model middle school. 5/27/2009 4

5 Title I ARRA Funds:  Funds may be used in schools designated Title I based on the percentage of students living in poverty.  Funds may supplement not supplant state or general revenue funds available to all schools.  Funds must be allocated to private schools, and indirect costs must be paid. 10  Teachers “don’t know what they don’t know” sustained, classroom PD.  Communication and direction. Visit classrooms together.  In the classroom, not quasi-administrators. Should be analyzing data, identifying and creating materials for teachers, modeling instruction, assisting with lesson plan development, modeling small group instruction, grouping students through data analysis, offering PD, and facilitating department/grade level meetings.  Coaches must be held accountable for instructional improvement but they must also be supported and directed.
