12 b) Type 2 1) Use a political act (assassination) to resolve a personal dilemma NOT to further a cause 2) the assassin is frustrated/angry by a perceived slight by someone close to them 3) thus, they strike out at a public official that is a real or surrogate for their ‘real’ problem 4) gets attention to their problem(s)
