7 Why training/awareness in equality issues into working environment? : Gender equality in a work environment :  Means full activation of skills, talents and potentials of women and men Recognizes the differences exist in men’s and women’s needs and priorities (issues that must not lead to discrimination)  Involves a willingness to establish a balanced distribution of responsibilities between women and men  Equality implementation between both genders in a business environment is an indicator of development and increased performance of its’ human capital Equal - Anthisi

14 Description of the Project : It offers motives in the enterprises for the application of actions of gender equality. 22 The main aim:  Acquisition of skills in Information and Communication Technologies  Access of unemployed women in the labor market  Reduction of “Digital Divide” based on gender  Reduction of unemployment E LEARNING PROJECT* * “E-learning training program for 7000 unemployed women” Community Support Framework 2000-2006 Operational Program :Information Society Ministry of Employment and social protection

23 Actions: 8 training courses in Information and Communication Technologies Target group: Unemployed women Method: Mixed method of teaching  70 hours of e-learning – asynchronous distance learning (for each training group)  30 hours with the natural presence of a tutor – classroom training (for each training group) Outcome: Certificate of computer skills E LEARNING PROJECT
