4 Guideline 1 Union of European Foresters is working actively for being a growing, proactive and visible organisation for the foresters and forest experts of all Europe. Presidency members 4

6 Guideline 2 Union of European Foresters will further develop the work in the interest of our members on the European and EU level. UEF will be present and take positions where the decisions concerning forestry matters are prepared and taken. The contacts and cooperation with stakeholders, Commission and Parliament are important in that work. The contacts and cooperation with members of the EU-parliament will be expanded. The process of the MCPFE (Forest Europe) and other European processes are also given high priority. 16 Guideline 5 The whole economy of UEF and therefore the viability of the present used method and of the income level, will be studied and estimated in order to be able to make corrections in the level and the way the payment is calculated for the whole UEF and by each member organisations.
