1. Maryam and Marzieh, two young Christian women, are being held in Evin Prison in Iran because of their Christian faith. Pray God will sustain them in prison, spiritually and physically, and give them opportunities to witness for Him.

2. Twenty-year-old Sandul Bibi and her father, Gulsher Masih, are imprisoned on false blasphemy charges in Pakistan because of their bold witness for Christ. Pray for justice, and that their faith in Christ will remain unwavering.

3. Pastor Hua Huiqi has been arrested, again, by Chinese police. In the past year his entire family has been harassed by Chinese authorities; his mother was released from prison a few months ago. Praise God for this family’s faithfulness. Pray false charges against Pastor Hua will be dropped so he can return to his family.

4. Lydia Digal’s husband, a pastor, was killed by radical Hindus during violent attacks in Orissa in 2008. She’s now living in a displaced-persons camp with her five-year-old son, Oved. Pray God will provide for Lydia, Oved and other families of martyrs.

5. Omar Khalife, a Somali Christian, was shot dead by members of al-Shabaab, a Muslim extremist group, when they found Bibles in his possession. Pray for Omar’s family. 6. A mob of more than 400 people, including Chinese officials, barged into the Good News Cloth Shoes Factory and assaulted believers who were present on the site of the Fushan Church building in Linfin City, Shanxi province. Pray that the Lord will strengthen members of the Fushan Church in their hearts, minds and bodies as they face opposition for their faith. Pray that they will demonstrate Christ's love and compassion to their persecutors.

7. More than 20 police officers raided a church service in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. They arrested seven church members belonging to the registered Donam Protestant Church and confiscated Christian literature. Pray for the imprisoned believers and their families, and ask God to protect and encourage them and other believers living under heavy scrutiny from the government.

8. New Life Full Gospel Church in Minsk, Belarus, was issued an eviction notice by government officials, forcing them to abandon the church building they purchased in 2002. Pray for believers who cannot worship freely. Ask God to encourage members of New Life Full Gospel Church.
