Mathematics Mathematics students follow a sequential path through their class options. These paths are indicated with solid lines. The right path is followed by students who may find math difficult. The left path is followed by students who are at or above grade level in math. Dashed lines indicate places a student may switch paths. A student may switch from the right path to the left path to allow them to take more upper level math courses or they may switch from the left to the right if they are finding math more difficult as they progress.
