5. 5 The meeting agenda for most committee meetings is planned by the faculty or division/department/progra m chair, with input from committee members and sometimes from program students

6. 6 Most advisory committees (83%) suggest recommendations for major program revisions and improvements. If a change in the curriculum is recommended, the approval and implementation process usually takes less than a year. If the process is delayed, respondents explain that the delay is built in to the academic standards curricular review process.
