Information about Agriculture advisory tools : Information about Agriculture advisory tools : » »The created software tool will be used by agriculture companies or by farmer to plan forage production, feedstuffs purchase and also for optimizing of produced feeds in defined period » »The feedstuffs database will include feedstuffs information collected since 1997 through selected laboratories in Czech Republic. The Polish part of database will include feedstuffs information collected through selected laboratories in Poland. The set feedstuffs in database are created on the base of average values of nutrients contents in monitored period and they are listed by class of plant, species and phonological stage. These feedstuffs are available during the process of planning and optimizing of feeds production » »Database can be used not only with standard feeds but it can be completed also by feedstuffs based on farmer’s analyses. Information about Agriculture advisory tools : Information about Agriculture advisory tools : » »Plants produced on current area (hectares), the yield of forage, supposed losses during conservation, storage and feeding and the prices of feedstuffs are the base inputs into feedstuffs production planning. The data from animal production as number of animals, category and animals’ efficiency are inserted into planning schema » »The optimized feed ratios, which are calculated on the base of feedstuffs analyses or standard feeds, are the main item for the calculation of feedstuffs production structure. We can see the number of available area during whole calculation; these free hectares (ha) are changed in line with actual feed content in feed ratio. So we can on this base immediately increase or decrease used content of feedstuff Progress report II / 2006

Information about Agriculture advisory tools : Information about Agriculture advisory tools : » »Further possibility is to insert new feedstuffs-plants into feed ratios in relation to requested animal efficiency. There are also changeable items on number of animals and animal efficiency. Further tool for animal efficiency determination is price of feed ratio per unit of milk or unit of daily gain that is actually calculated and feed ratio price is minimized. » »The field area needs for each of plants and needs of other feedstuffs (cereals, mixtures, minerals etc.) are calculated after processing of all feed ratios for all animal categories and all year. It is available to set a needed reserve of forage that is necessary for animal production stability Progress report II / 2006

The inputs for this calculation are optimized feeds ratios based on actual feeds analysis. The calculation is based on feeds resources so that the feed ratio is as much equable as possible during all defined period, the efficiency is maximal and feeding costs are on minimal level Progress report II / 2006

Outputs from Agriculture advisory tools : Outputs from Agriculture advisory tools : 1. 1.The list of needed crops with area (ha), yield per hectare, price of forage and total yield of forage divided into forage used as fresh matter, silage, hay, dried forage, concentrated feed etc. are the main outputs 2. 2.Total produced feeds and the produced forage per cattle unit are informative outputs. These outputs can be completed by already used feeds, losses during conservation and feeding, feedstuffs prices etc. 3. 3.Needs of fedable feedstuffs with a price of each of feeds and also with total price of all used feedstuffs are outputs, which are closely linked with optimizing of feed ratios 4. 4.Created feed ratios are in nature dry matter and are created on the base of season Progress report II / 2006
