 Math Rocks!  We need it everyday,  we need it when we work,  we need it when we play.  Math Rocks!  We use it every night.  We’ve got to rock the world,  so we’ve got to get it right!  Math Rocks!

 Fractions, money, telling time,  decimals, measurement, composite or prime.  Operations, geometry, too,  Math is good for me  And really good for you!

 Math Rocks!  In everything we do,  Just understand your math and  you can rock it, too!  Math Rocks!  Let’s rock it all the way.  We love to do the numbers and  that is why we say,  Math Rocks!

 Addition, subtraction, divide, multiply,  altitude, area, give it a try!  Approximate, calculate, figure it out!  Rockin’ with arithmetic is what it’s all about!

 Math Rocks!  We need it ev’ry day,  we need it when we work,  we need it when we play.  Math Rocks!  We use it every night.  We’ve got to rock the world,  so we’ve got to get it right!  Math Rocks!

 Operations,  things we do with pride:  Add, subtract, multiply, divide!  Operations,  What we need to know:  stand up, take a turn,  show me how it goes!

 Let’s multiply.  Ready, set, go!  Two times one is two:  2 x 1 = 2  Two times two is four:  2 x 2 = 4 Two times three is six: 2 x 3 = 6 Answer nine more!

 Two times four is?  2 x 4 = ?  Two times five is?  2 x 5 = ? Two times six is? 2 x 6 = ? Hey, you’re doing great!

 Two times seven is?  2 x 7 = ?  Two times eight is?  2 x 8 = ? Two times nine is? 2 x 9 = ? Just three more!

 Two times ten is?  2 x 10 = ?  Two times eleven is?  2 x 11 = ? Two times twelve is? 2 x 12 = ? Let me hear you roar!

A simple rhombus is just a four sided shape, each side is equal, that means the very same length. If ev’ry angle just opposite is the same, then you can do the rhombus rhumba!

It’s just a flat shape and it has four equal sides, and if you get this, My friend, you’re making great strides! To find its area it’s altitude times a side, now you can do the rhombus rhumba!

Area is thirty-two and altitude is eight. If you find the length of sides, then you are doing great!

Area is sixty-four and altitude is eight. If you find the length of sides, then you are doing great!

A parallelogram or any square fills the bill, with equal sides and opposite angles still. All those triangles, they have no place on the floor, for they can’t do the rhombus rhumba.

No, they can’t do the rhombus rhumba, but you can do the rhombus rhumba! Ole!

(Fraction and Decimal Equivalents) ACTION FRACTIONS

Ate half an apple and feel alive. Ate half an apple and left point five. Drank one-third of my soda pop. That’s point three and a little drop.

I got action! Action fractions! Fraction and decimal equivalents, When you understand it all makes sense. Action fractions!

What is the equivalent of four eighths? If you said half, you’re doing great! You know two sixths is just one third. Fractions are our thing, and equivalent’s the word.

I got action! Action fractions! Fraction and decimal equivalents, like a quarter of a dollar equals twenty-five cents. Action fractions!

One quarter is point two five. One half is point five o. Three quarters is point seven five. Four quarters, one hundred percent!

I got action! Action factions! Fraction and decimal equivalents, when you understand, it all makes sense. Action fractions!

Two is to four as “X” is to one hundred. Two times one hundred divided by four is the decimal equivalent! One is to three as “X” is to one hundred. One times one hundred, divided by three will give you the equivalent!

I got action! Action factions! Fraction and decimal equivalents, when you understand, it all makes sense. Action fractions! Get to the point! Yeah!
